I always knew that my maid of honour, Natalie, would plan an amazing bachelorette party for me, but she truly blew me away with a night I will never forget!
The theme of the party was based on the Roaring Twenties and took style cues from the recently released movie the “Great Gatsby.” To start the evening we had a extravagant 1920’s buffet with a menu that was full of items that were popular in the 20’s: devilled eggs, Waldorf salad, olives, savoury nuts, strawberry jello salad, tea sandwiches, shrimp cocktail and pineapple upside down cake. After dinner we had a wedding cake decorating competition complete with vintage inspired prizes. Other cute elements of the evening included a champagne “Bubbly Bar,” a candy spread from Sugarfina, 1920’s slang trivia game, lingerie guessing game and Gatsby themed dress up station.
I am so grateful to have so many wonderful friends and family members who have made me feel so special and loved throughout my wedding planning, bridal shower and bachelorette party. I am a very lucky gal!
